Garvey Nights
For all those new to the club, Garvey nights are a club social night that is held once a month (Sunday night) at the Frank Mount Rooms located at Garvey Oval, Parade College, Plenty Road Bundoora. On these nights all players and their families are invited to come along and listen to all coaches give a monthly wrap on how their teams have been going for the month as well as hand out an encouragement award known as the player of the month for each respective team.
It is also the place that players will receive milestone certificates (50, 100 or 150 games certificates). Food and drinks are also available on the evening, stay tuned to the Binnak Bulletin or Club web site in the weeks leading up to Garvey Night to find out exactly what food will be on offer. Our Club’s first Garvey Night has been scheduled for Sunday 26th April 2015. The night also includes, raffles and a $100.00 family draw give away (1 per Garvey Night).
In order for these nights to be a fantastic social night for players and families to make new friends we require the help of volunteers. Certain teams throughout the season will be asked to volunteer on the night.
